In order to explore the dynamical interaction between the dust and planets, we have performed multi-epoch photometry and spectroscopy of the system over several orbits of the outer dust. We find no evidence for changes in either the dust amount or its composition, with upper limits of 5%-7% (1{sigma} per spectral element) on the variability of the dust spectrum over 1 year, 3.3% (1{sigma}) on the broadband disk emission over 4 years, and 33% (1{sigma}) on the broadband disk emission over 24 years. Detailed modeling of the spectrum of the emitting dust indicates that the dust is located outside of the orbits of the three planets and has a composition similar to main-belt, C-type asteroids in our solar system. Additionally, we find no evidence for a wide variety of gas species associated with the dust. Our new higher signal-to-noise spectra do not confirm our previously claimed detection of H_2_O ice leading to a firm conclusion that the debris can be associated with the break-up of one or more C-type asteroids formed in the dry, inner regions of the protoplanetary disk of the HD 69830 system. The modeling of the spectral energy distribution and high spatial resolution observations in the mid-infrared are consistent with a ~1 AU location for the emitting material.</description><source format="bibcode">2011ApJ...743...85B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/743/85</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/239">I/239 : The Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogues (ESA 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/521/A12">J/A+A/521/A12 : RVs of nearby late-type stars (Maldonado+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/705/1226">J/ApJ/705/1226 : Planet-bearing stars in Spitzer (Bryden+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/705/89">J/ApJ/705/89 : IRS spectra of solar-type stars (Lawler+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/700/L73">J/ApJ/700/L73 : Photospheric fluxes at 24 and 70{mu}m (Kospal+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/687/1264">J/ApJ/687/1264 : Age estimation for solar-type dwarfs (Mamajek+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/636/1098">J/ApJ/636/1098 : Debris disks around solar-type stars (Bryden+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/620/1010">J/ApJ/620/1010 : Spitzer 24{mu}m photometry of A dwarfs (Rieke+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/151/387">J/ApJS/151/387 : NIR spectral library of late-type stars (Ivanov+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/121/139">J/A+AS/121/139 : UMIST database. 1995 (Millar+, 1997)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/743/85</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/743/85/table4</name><description>Spitzer/IRS low resolution spectrum</description><column><name>Frac</name><description>Fractional excess</description><ucd>phot.color.excess</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>e_Frac</name><description>Uncertainty in Frac</description><ucd>stat.error</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
