The Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer was used to spatially resolve the binary components in 2000 and over a period between 2005 and 2010. The interferometric observations are used to obtain the angular separations and orientations of the two stellar components at all epochs for which data have been obtained, including 2005 and 2006, for which, based on previous studies, there was some uncertainty as to if the signature of binarity can be clearly detected. The results of this study represent the most complete and accurate coverage of the binary orbit of this system to date and allow for the revised timing of the upcoming periastron passage that will occur in 2011 to be obtained.</description><source format="bibcode">2011ApJ...729L...5T</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/729/L5</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/312">I/312 : PPMX Catalog of positions and proper motions (Roeser+ 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/270">I/270 : Catalog of Positions of IR Stellar Sources (CPIRSS) (Hindsley+ 1994)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/98">V/98 : MSX Infrared Astrometric Catalog (Egan+ 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/193">I/193 : Positions and Proper Motions - South (Bastian+ 1993)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/408/305">J/A+A/408/305 : Spectroscopic observations of delta Sco (Miroshnichenko+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/386/492">J/A+A/386/492 : High Angular Resolution Measurements (Richichi, 2002)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/729/L5</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/729/L5/table1</name><description>NPOI (Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer) astrometric results</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
