J/ApJ/701/428) to investigate the variability of objects in 8.1deg^2^ of the NOAO Deep Wide Field Survey Bootes field (NDWFS; Jannuzi &amp; Dey 1999ASPC..191..111J). We perform a Difference Image Analysis of the four available epochs between 2004 and 2008, focusing on the deeper 3.6 and 4.5um bands. Out of 474, 179 analyzed sources, 1.1% meet our standard variability selection criteria that the two light curves are strongly correlated (r&gt;0.8) and that their joint variance ({sigma}_12_) exceeds that for all sources with the same magnitude by 2{sigma}. We then examine the mid-IR colors of the variable sources and match them with X-ray sources from the XBootes survey (Murray et al. 2005ApJS..161....1M), radio catalogs (FIRST (Becker et al., Cat. VIII/71) and WSRT (de Vries et al. 2002, Cat. J/AJ/123/1784)), 24um selected active galactic nucleus (AGN) candidates (see Houck et al. 2005ApJ...622L.105H), and spectroscopically identified AGNs from the AGN and Galaxy Evolution Survey (AGES; C. S. Kochanek et al. 2010, in prep). Based on their mid-IR colors, most of the variable sources are AGNs (76%), with smaller contributions from stars (11%), galaxies (6%), and unclassified objects, although most of the stellar, galaxy, and unclassified sources are false positives. For our standard selection criteria, 11%-12% of the mid-IR counterparts to X-ray sources, 24um AGN candidates, and spectroscopically identified AGNs show variability.</description><source format="bibcode">2010ApJ...716..530K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/716/530</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VIII/71">VIII/71 : The FIRST Survey Catalog, Version 03Apr11 (Becker+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/701/428">J/ApJ/701/428 : The Spitzer Deep, Wide-Field Survey (SDWFS) (Ashby+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/641/140">J/ApJ/641/140 : Optical counterparts in the NDWFS Bootes field (Brand+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/161/9">J/ApJS/161/9 : X-ray survey of the NDWFS Bootes field (Kenter+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/634/L1">J/ApJ/634/L1 : 16{mu}m sources in the NOAO Bootes field (Kasliwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/123/1784">J/AJ/123/1784 : 1.4 GHz imaging of the Bootes field (de Vries+, 2002)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/716/530</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/716/530/catalog (SDWFS-DIA (Spitzer Deep Wide Field Survey - Difference Image Analysis) variability catalog and light curves)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/716/530/catalog?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/716/530/catalog?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/716/530/catalog?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>218.5154469</ra><dec>33.0448931</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/2286 2287 2628 2629 6/9135 9194 10501 10521 10524 10560</spatial><spectral>2.0616683193919197e-20 6.185923063528282e-20</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/716/530?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/716/530/catalog</name><description>SDWFS-DIA (Spitzer Deep Wide Field Survey - Difference Image Analysis) variability catalog and light curves</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
