They show column densities at soft energies (0.5-2keV) mostly related to the diffuse emission around the active galactic nucleus (AGN), showing a correlation with the optical extinction. Column densities at hard energies (2-10keV) seem to be much higher than what would be expected from the optical extinction. They might be associated with the inner regions of the AGN, buried at optical wavelengths.</description><source format="bibcode">2009ApJ...704.1570G</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/704/1570</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/187/135">J/ApJS/187/135 : SEDs of weak AGNs associated with LINERs (Eracleous+,</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/414/825">J/A+A/414/825 : Mid-infrared spectroscopy of LINERs (Satyapal+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/RMxAA/35.187">J/other/RMxAA/35.187 : Multifrequency catalog of LINERs (Carrillo+, 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/323/71">J/A+A/323/71 : Line spectra of Liners (Contini 1997)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/704/1570</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/704/1570/table1 (Properties of the LINER sample)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/704/1570/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/704/1570/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/704/1570/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>14.4536667</ra><dec>0.3524444</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/141 650 4439 4447 5182 5196 5816 5975 5982 6098 6103 7214 7225 7241 7374 7552 7941 8085 8195 8196 8950 9895 10312 10752 10817 10841 10856 10924 11029 11101 11246 11263 11457 12018 12241 13522 17141 17492 18007 18012 18028 18045 18263 19611 25083 25972 26091 26298 26313 26338 26365 27515 27714 27735 27736 27765 27767 27773 27914 27936 27944 28035 28142 28167 28173 28184 28221 28304 28495 31081 31158 32545 40777 43626 44671 46568 46811 47077</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/704/1570?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>X-ray</waveband><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/704/1570/table1</name><description>Properties of the LINER sample</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
