We use this to build high-purity catalogs of ~5000 AGN candidates behind the Magellanic Clouds. Once confirmed, these quasars will expand the available astrometric reference sources for the Clouds and the numbers of quasars with densely sampled, long-term (&gt;decade) monitoring light curves by well over an order of magnitude and potentially identify sufficiently bright quasars for absorption line studies of the interstellar medium of the Clouds.</description><source format="bibcode">2009ApJ...701..508K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/701/508</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/716/530">J/ApJ/716/530 : Mid-IR variability from the SDWFS (Kozlowski+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/701/428">J/ApJ/701/428 : The Spitzer Deep, Wide-Field Survey (SDWFS) (Ashby+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/18">J/AJ/136/18 : LMC SAGE.
