Our sample is the largest and broadest used yet for modeling quasar variability. The sources in our sample have z&lt;2.8, 10^42^&lt;~{lambda}L_{lambda}_(5100{AA})&lt;~10^46^, and 10^6^&lt;~M_BH_/M_{sun}_&lt;~10^10^. We model the light curves as a continuous time stochastic process, providing a natural means of estimating the characteristic timescale and amplitude of quasar variations. We employ a Bayesian approach to estimate the characteristic timescale and amplitude of flux variations; our approach is not affected by biases introduced from discrete sampling effects.</description><source format="bibcode">2009ApJ...698..895K</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/698/895</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/185/156">J/ApJS/185/156 : The Lick AGN monitoring project (Walsh+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/625/78">J/ApJ/625/78 : QSOs properties (Hao+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/369/57">J/A+A/369/57 : Monitoring Mkn 279 in BVRI and H{beta} fluxes (Santos-Lleo+,</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/269/352">J/ApJ/269/352 : Quasar evolution (Schmidt+, 1983)</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://www.astronomy.ohio-state.edu/~agnwatch/ : AGN Watch Website</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/698/895</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/698/895/qsos (Quasars sample properties and results from CAR(1) process fits to quasar light curves)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/698/895/qsos?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/698/895/qsos?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/698/895/qsos?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>7.307083</ra><dec>13.26775</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/8274 8278 6/4506 5091 5244 5437 5481 5576 5731 7998 8017 8071 8528 8636 8641 8881 8906 8922 8941 9181 10039 10162 10217 10472 10578 10691 10694 10709 10912 10927 11668 11829 11898 11924 12380 13414 19283 19315 19416 19746 19932 25965 26509 27227 27349 27717 27848 27862 28060 28471 33047 33051 33053 33054 33055 33063 33077 33078 33088 33090 33092 33103 33107 33108 33116 33120 33121 33122 33124 33125 33126 33293 33295 33306 33317 37538 38268 49042</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/698/895?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/698/895/qsos</name><description>Quasars sample properties and results from CAR(1) process fits to quasar light curves</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
