Here we present a reanalysis of publicly available two-color observations of about 6800 stars in the Large Magellanic Cloud obtained by the MACHO Project between 1992 and 2000 and classified as eclipsing variables. Of these, fewer than half are genuine eclipsing binaries. We determined new periods and classified the stars, 3031 in total, using the Fourier parameters of the phased light curves.</description><source format="bibcode">2007ApJ...663..249D</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/663/249</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/247">II/247 : Variable Stars in the Large Magellanic Clouds (MACHO, 2001)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/542/257">J/ApJ/542/257 : MACHO LMC first-overtone RR Lyrae (Alcock+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/337/519">J/MNRAS/337/519 : M giants in MACHO, DENIS and ISOGAL (Glass+, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/598/597">J/ApJ/598/597 : Fundamental-mode RR Lyrae frequency analysis (Alcock+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/127/334">J/AJ/127/334 : MACHO LMC first-overtone RR Lyrae variables (Alcock+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/631/906">J/ApJ/631/906 : MACHO Galactic Bulge microlensing events (Thomas+, 2005)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/663/249</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/663/249/table1 (New periods and classifications)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/663/249/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/663/249/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/663/249/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>72.33976667</ra><dec>-68.20880556</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/8263 8269 8272 8274 8280 8281 6/33047 33051 33073 33092 33094 33100 33102 33136</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/663/249?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/663/249/table1</name><description>New periods and classifications</description><column><name>Vmag</name><description>The V-band magnitude</description><unit>mag</unit><ucd>phot.mag;em.opt.V</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
