Within 25' of the cluster centers we detect ~11000 sources with J&lt;=15.5, ~7000 sources with [4.5]&lt;=15, and ~5000 sources with [8]&lt;=14.5. In both clusters the surface density profiles derived from the 2MASS data decline with distance from the cluster centers as expected for a bound cluster. Within 15' of the cluster centers, ~50% of the stars lie on a reddened ~13Myr isochrone; at 15'-25' from the cluster centers, ~40% lie on this isochrone. Thus, the optical/2MASS color-magnitude diagrams indicate that h and chi Per are accompanied by a halo population with roughly the same age and distance as the two dense clusters.</description><source format="bibcode">2007ApJ...659..599C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/659/599</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/V/27">V/27 : Proper Motions and UBV Photometry in h+chi Per (Muminov 1980)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/122/248">J/AJ/122/248 : h and chi Per UBVI,H{alpha} photometry (Keller+, 2001)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/394/479">J/A+A/394/479 : uvby{beta} photometry of h and chi Per (Capilla+, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/576/880">J/ApJ/576/880 : CCD UBV photometry of h and {chi} Per (Slesnick+, 2002)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/659/599</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/659/599/table2 (h &amp; chi Persei data)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/659/599/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/659/599/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/659/599/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>34.9281</ra><dec>56.9391</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/814 6/3245 3247 3250 3251 3260</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/659/599?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/659/599/table2</name><description>h &amp; chi Persei data</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
