The electron temperature was calculated using high-precision radio recombination line and continuum observations for more than 100 HII regions. Nebular Galactocentric distances were calculated in a consistent manner, using the radial velocities measured by our radio recombination line survey. The large number of nebulae widely distributed over the Galactic disk, together with the uniformity of our data, provide a secure estimate of the present electron temperature gradient in the Milky Way.</description><source format="bibcode">2006ApJ...653.1226Q</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/653/1226</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/165/338">J/ApJS/165/338 : Radio recombination lines in HII regions (Quireza+, 2006)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/653/1226</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/653/1226/table1 (Physical properties of Galactic HII regions)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/653/1226/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/653/1226/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/653/1226/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>266.45</ra><dec>-28.25</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/1330 1781 1848 1930 3649 3755 14255 14263 14307 14311 14317 14359 14409 14621 14624 14644 14691 14704 15458 20849 21439 21458 21550 21646 21679 22249 23645 23982 24554 28830 28831 28875 28890 28912 28918 29091 29101 29114 29115 29116 29118 29463 29505 29508 29510 29515 29522 29533 29535 30218 30241 30259 30262 30312 30318 30328 30341 30618 30624 30644 30645 30694 30695 39804 42391 42395 42396 42398 42435 42436 42445 42449 42451 42455 42456 42460 42462</spatial><spectral>5.6984200832293834e-24 5.6984200832293834e-24</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/653/1226?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/653/1226/table1</name><description>Physical properties of Galactic HII regions</description><column><name>Name</name><description>Other name</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="13*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
