The observations consist of a full-sky peculiar velocity survey with an effective depth ranging from 8000 to 11000km/s, depending on how the observations are weighted with redshift. This is the deepest peculiar velocity survey yet conducted. Clusters are selected by heliocentric redshift, and the sample is volume-limited. We use the Hoessel (1980ApJ...241..493H) relationship between the metric luminosities of the brightest clusters galaxies (BCGs) and the slope of their brightness profiles as the distance indicator. The Cousins R-band luminosity within a metric radius of 10h^-1^kpc yields a typical distance error of 16% for a single BCG.</description><source format="bibcode">1994ApJ...425..418L</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/ApJ/425/418</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/4">VII/4 : Abell and Zwicky Clusters of Galaxies (Abell+ 1974)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/110">VII/110 : Rich Clusters of Galaxies (Abell+ 1989)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VII/193">VII/193 : The CfA Redshift Catalogue, Version June 1995 (Huchra+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/384/404">J/ApJ/384/404 : Redshifts of a nearby rich clusters of galaxies (Postman+ 1992)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/106/1273">J/AJ/106/1273 : Kinematics of dense clusters of galaxies (Zabludoff+ 1993)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/440/28">J/ApJ/440/28 : Brightest Cluster Galaxies velocities (Postman+ 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/797/82">J/ApJ/797/82 : Brightest cluster galaxies in Abell clusters (Lauer+, 2014)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/ApJ/425/418</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/ApJ/425/418/table13 (The Abell cluster inertial frame and the BCG photometric properties (tables 1 and 3 of the paper))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/425/418/table13?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/425/418/table13?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/ApJ/425/418/table13?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>9.8609</ra><dec>6.7375</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/50 242 1006 2169 2409 2432 4990 5030 5394 5401 5618 6951 7026 7355 8264 8266 8271 8442 8515 8520 8526 8648 9368 9468 9471 10379 12153 16410 16434 16541 16543 16758 17662 17801 17810 18011 18016 18038 18168 18184 18324 18411 19608 19797 19993 20021 20031 20282 20355 20481 20511 20707 20710 20734 21125 22577 23027 24943 25042 25669 26903 27060 27224 27238 27486 27586 27595 28251 28345 28360 28414 28415 28554 33624 34307 34955 34961 35052 35055 35595 35618 36062 37550 38853 39077 43451 43626 43801 43803 43806 43809 43823 43830 43835 43837 43838 43843 43848 43849 43877 43904 43915 43939 43950 43968 43977 44554 45981 46043 46077 46241 46754 47470 47541 47583 48319 48323 48344</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/ApJ/425/418?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/ApJ/425/418/table13</name><description>The Abell cluster inertial frame and the BCG photometric properties (tables 1 and 3 of the paper)</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
