We analyzed the orbital period variations of the systems and found that six of them show long-term changes. The increase in the orbital period of the J07, N65, and PU Vir systems is caused by mass transfer, and the reduction in the orbital period of the J05, LO Psc, and N49 systems is caused by the combination of angular momentum loss and mass transfer. The first light-curve analysis was performed with the PHysics Of Eclipsing BinariEs Python code and Markov Chain Monte Carlo. We discussed the accuracy of photometric mass ratio estimates for contact binary systems with total and partial eclipses compared to spectroscopic results. We also compared our mass ratio findings to a recent method that estimates mass ratios from the light curve's third derivative. Then, we also discussed this new mass ratio estimate method for photometric data. The systems' positions were displayed in 18 empirical parameter relationships. According to the light-curve analysis and estimation of absolute parameters, systems BE Mus, J07, J08, N49, and N65 are A subtypes, and the others are W subtypes.</description><source format="bibcode">2024AJ....168..272P</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/168/272</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/vsx">B/vsx : AAVSO International Variable Star Index VSX (Watson+, 2006-)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/366">II/366 : ASAS-SN catalog of variable stars (Jayasinghe+, 2018-2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/IV/39">IV/39 : TESS Input Catalog version 8.2 (TIC v8.2) (Paegert+, 2021)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/469/355">J/ApJ/469/355 : Teff, B-V and BC relation (Flower, 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/141/371">J/A+AS/141/371 : Low-mass stars evol. tracks &amp; isochrones (Girardi+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/426/1001">J/A+A/426/1001 : Catalog of contact binary stars (Csizmadia+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/629/1055">J/ApJ/629/1055 : Evolution of close binary systems (Yakut+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/PASA/23.154">J/other/PASA/23.154 : BV LCs of XY Leo, EE Cet, AQ Psc (Djurasevic+ 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/373/1483">J/MNRAS/373/1483 : W UMa type and CAB stars dynamical evolution (Eker+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/131/621">J/AJ/131/621 : Catalog of 1022 bright contact binary stars (Gettel+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/446/785">J/A+A/446/785 : Catalogue of eclipsing variables (Malkov+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/133/1470">J/AJ/133/1470 : TAROT suspected variable star catalog (Damerdji+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/465/943">J/A+A/465/943 : BVI and RV curves of 5 eclipsing binaries (Szalai+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/138/466">J/AJ/138/466 : NSVS variables automated classification (Hoffman+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/137/3655">J/AJ/137/3655 : Radial velocities of 8 close binaries (Pribulla+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/412/1787">J/MNRAS/412/1787 : Physical parameters of 62 eclipsing binaries (Deb+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/143/99">J/AJ/143/99 : Photometry of W UMa eclipsing binaries (Terrell+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AN/334/860">J/AN/334/860 : Catalogue of eclipsing variables. v2 (Avvakumova+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/213/9">J/ApJS/213/9 : Catalina Surveys periodic variable stars (Drake+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/788/48">J/ApJ/788/48 : X-ray through NIR photometry of NGC 2617 (Shappee+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/465/4678">J/MNRAS/465/4678 : 9380 contact binaries from CRTS VSC (Marsh+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/479/5491">J/MNRAS/479/5491 : Absolute parameters of 509 main-sequence stars (Eker+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/156/102">J/AJ/156/102 : TESS Input Catalog &amp; Candidate Target List (Stassun+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/867/105">J/ApJ/867/105 : ATLAS all-sky stellar ref. cat.
