Based on the analytical solution, a numerical fitting algorithm is proposed to improve the coefficients of the analytical solution so that its accuracy can reach the level of a few kilometers within 20yr. By fitting our solution to the long-term JPL ephemerides, we are able to recover the receding speed of the Moon from the Earth due to tidal effects. The proposed algorithm also provides a general way to treat the third-body perturbation in rectangular coordinates.</description><source format="bibcode">2023AJ....165..147L</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/165/147</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/97">VI/97 : Solar and Lunar Eclipses; 1996-2020 (Espenak, 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/VI/140">VI/140 : Catalogue of Lunar Eclipse Crater Timings (Herald+ 2014)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/165/147</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/165/147</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/165/147</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/165/147</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/165/147</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/165/147</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/165/147/table3</name><description>*Main terms of the fitting solution</description><column><name>cy</name><description>[-0.9/0.75] Coefficient cy (2)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>sy</name><description>[-0.72/0.91] Coefficient sy (2)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>cz</name><description>[-0.39/0.33] Coefficient cz (2)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>n</name><description>[-3/3] Coefficient n (1)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>p</name><description>[-7/5] Coefficient p (1)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>q</name><description>[-4/4] Coefficient q (1)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>sz</name><description>[-0.32/0.4] Coefficient sz (2)</description><ucd>stat.fit.param</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
