The latter system is already well known to exhibit strong evidence for tidal orbital decay and serves as an important control for this study. Several other systems we identify have disputed period drifts in the literature, allowing the results here to serve as an independent analysis. The citizen science data are from the Exoplanet Transit Database (ETD), which is a global project established in 2008 by the Variable Star and Exoplanet Section of the Czech Astronomical Society. With over 400 planets and 12000 contributed observations spanning 15yr, the ETD is brimming with potential for studying the long-term orbital evolution of close-in hot Jupiters. We use our results to discuss prioritization of targets for follow-up investigations, which will be necessary to confirm the period drifts and their causes.</description><source format="bibcode">2022AJ....164..220H</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/164/220</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/692/L100">J/ApJ/692/L100 : Relative photometry of WASP-10 (Johnson+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/692/L9">J/ApJ/692/L9 : Tidal evolution transiting extrasolar planets (Levrard+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/500/L45">J/A+A/500/L45 : Observations of transits of TrES-2 exoplanet (Mislis+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/508/1011">J/A+A/508/1011 : Planetary transit of TrES-1 and TrES-2 (Rabus+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/691/1145">J/ApJ/691/1145 : Spectrophotometry of TrES-3 and TrES-4 (Sozzetti+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/726/52">J/ApJ/726/52 : HAT-P-18 and HAT-P-19 follow-up (Hartman+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/742/59">J/ApJ/742/59 : HAT-P-32 and HAT-P-33 follow-up (Hartman+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/535/A7">J/A+A/535/A7 : Transit light curves of WASP-10 b (Maciejewski+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/145/68">J/AJ/145/68 : Five new transit light curves of TrES-3 (Jiang+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/440/1470">J/MNRAS/440/1470 : Ji light curves of WTS-2 (Birkby+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/563/A40">J/A+A/563/A40 : WASP-43b g'r'i'z'JHK light curves (Chen+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/563/A41">J/A+A/563/A41 : WASP-43 OSIRIS transmission spectroscopy (Murgas+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASP/127/143">J/PASP/127/143 : WASP-39b and WASP-43b light curves (Ricci+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/151/17">J/AJ/151/17 : Eight transiting light curves of WASP-43b (Jiang+, 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/588/L6">J/A+A/588/L6 : WASP-12 transit light curves (Maciejewski+ 2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/602/A107">J/A+A/602/A107 : 231 transiting planets eccentricity and mass (Bonomo+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/154/4">J/AJ/154/4 : Times of transits and occultations of WASP-12b (Patra+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/155/165">J/AJ/155/165 : Dissipation exoplanet hosts from tidal spin-up (Penev+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/157/217">J/AJ/157/217 : Transit times of 5 hot Jupiter WASP exoplanets (Bouma+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/622/A81">J/A+A/622/A81 : 15 hot Jupiter exoplanets light curves (Mallonn+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/490/4230">J/MNRAS/490/4230 : Transiting planet WASP-4b (Southworth+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/893/L29">J/ApJ/893/L29 : WASP-4 RVs &amp; hot Jupiter predict period changes (Bouma+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/159/150">J/AJ/159/150 : Transit times of 11 hot Jupiters (Patra+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/888/L5">J/ApJ/888/L5 : Transits, occultation times and RVs of WASP-12b (Yee+, 2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/656/A88">J/A+A/656/A88 : TrES-5 photometric timeseries (Maciejewski+, 2021)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/161/72">J/AJ/161/72 : 180 Transit and occultation times for WASP-12b (Turner+, 2021)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/259/62">J/ApJS/259/62 : TESS transit timing of hot Jupiters (Ivshina+, 2022)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/258/40">J/ApJS/258/40 : ExoClock project II.
