Our search comprises 184 total planetary systems with confirmed hot Jupiters with R_p_&gt;8R{Earth} and orbital period &lt;10days. The Transit Least Squares algorithm was utilized to search for periodic signals that may have been missed by other planet search pipelines. While we recovered 169 of these confirmed hot Jupiters, our search yielded no new statistically validated planetary candidates in the parameter space searched (P&lt;14days). A lack of planet candidates nearby hot Jupiters in the TESS data supports results from previous transit searches of each individual system, now down to the photometric precision of TESS. This is consistent with expectations from a high-eccentricity migration formation scenario, but additional formation indicators are needed for definitive confirmation. We injected transit signals into the light curves of the hot Jupiter sample to probe the pipeline's sensitivity to the target parameter space, finding a dependence proportional to R_p_^2.32^P^-0.88^ for planets within 0.3&lt;~R_p_&lt;~4R{Earth} and 1&lt;~P&lt;~14days. A statistical analysis accounting for this sensitivity provides a median and 90% confidence interval of 7.3_-7.3_^+15.2^% for the rate of hot Jupiters with nearby companions in this target parameter space. This study demonstrates how TESS uniquely enables comprehensive searches for nearby planetary companions to nearly all the known hot Jupiters.</description><source format="bibcode">2021AJ....162..263H</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/162/263</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/IV/34">IV/34 : K2 Ecliptic Plane Input Catalog (EPIC) (Huber+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/IV/38">IV/38 : TESS Input Catalog - v8.0 (TIC-8) (Stassun+, 2019)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/147/119">J/AJ/147/119 : Catalog of sources in Kepler field of view (Coughlin+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/785/126">J/ApJ/785/126 : HIRES radial velocity measurements (Knutson+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/156/18">J/AJ/156/18 : APOGEE DR14:Binary comp. of evolved stars (Price-Whelan+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/157/124">J/AJ/157/124 : DAVE.
