We visually identified 7055 eclipsing binaries spread across ~330deg^2^, including 4197 W Ursa Majoris/EW-type, 1458 {beta}Lyrae/EB-type, and 1400 Algol/EA-type eclipsing binaries. For all systems, I-band light curves were used to obtain accurate system parameters. We derived the distances and extinction values for the EW-type objects from their period-luminosity relation. We also obtained the structure of the thin disk from the distribution of our sample of eclipsing binary systems, combined with those of high-mass star-forming regions and Cepheid tracers. We found that the thin disk is inhomogeneous in number density as a function of Galactic longitude. Using this new set of distance tracers, we constrain the detailed structure of the thin disk. Finally, we report a global parallax zero-point offset of {Delta}{pi}=-42.1{+/-}1.9(stat.){+/-}12.9(syst.){mu}as between our carefully calibrated EW-type eclipsing binary positions and those provided by Gaia Early Data Release 3. Implementation of the officially recommended parallax zero-point correction results in a significantly reduced offset. Additionally, we provide a photometric characterization of our EW-type eclipsing binaries that can be applied to further analyses.</description><source format="bibcode">2021AJ....161..176R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/161/176</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/366">II/366 : ASAS-SN catalog of variable stars (Jayasinghe+, 2018-2020)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/119/1901">J/AJ/119/1901 : ROTSE all-sky surveys for variable stars (Akerlof+, 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/136/1067">J/AJ/136/1067 : New beta Lyrae and Algol candidates in NSVS (Hoffman+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/138/466">J/AJ/138/466 : NSVS variables automated classification (Hoffman+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/other/A+ARV/18.67">J/other/A+ARV/18.67 : Accurate masses and radii of normal stars (Torres+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AN/333/706">J/AN/333/706 : Bochum survey of the southern Galactic disk (Haas+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/773/1">J/ApJ/773/1 : Period of HD19356 recorded in Cairo Calendar?
