Here, we present multi-color time-series photometry (VRIJHK) throughout the 2017/2018 observing season, when the ring was covering the entire orbit of star A and gradually exposing the orbit of star B. We calculate the mean apparent magnitude of star B to be I=14.08. Besides the periodic eclipses of star B due to its orbital motion, we observed unexpected dips in brightness indicative of partially transparent stellar-sized clumps within the ring. The wavelength dependence of these events is suggestive of extinction by dust grains significantly larger than typical interstellar dust grains. The photometric variability observed while star B is being uncovered by the trailing edge of the ring is not simply the time reversal of the behavior seen when star A was being covered by the leading edge. Whereas the leading edge appeared to be very sharply defined, the trailing edge is "clumpy" and "fuzzy" (transparent), with a more gradual transition in opacity. The clumpiness and transparency of the occulting material provide a unique opportunity to study the properties of dust grains in a likely planet-forming zone.</description><source format="bibcode">2020AJ....159..135G</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/159/135</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/gcvs">B/gcvs : General Catalogue of Variable Stars (Samus+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/347">I/347 : Distances to 1.33 billion stars in Gaia DR2 (Bailer-Jones+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/345">I/345 : Gaia DR2 (Gaia Collaboration, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/363/1081">J/A+A/363/1081 : Non-linear limb-darkening law for LTE models (Claret 2000)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/140/2025">J/AJ/140/2025 : KH 15D (V582 Mon) VI light curves (Herbst+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/548/A97">J/A+A/548/A97 : Catalogue of variable stars in open clusters (Zejda+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/773/54">J/ApJ/773/54 : Var. stars in and around NGC 2264 with BEST (Klagyivik+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/208/9">J/ApJS/208/9 : Intrinsic colors and temperatures of PMS stars (Pecaut+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/147/9">J/AJ/147/9 : VRIJHK light curves of V582 Mon (Windemuth+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/581/A52">J/A+A/581/A52 : Gaia-ESO Survey: H{alpha} em. stars catalogue (Traven+, 2015)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/151/90">J/AJ/151/90 : Spitzer and VRIJHK photometry of V582 Mon (Arulanantham+,2016)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/599/A23">J/A+A/599/A23 : Accretion-rotation connection in NGC 2264 (Venuti+, 2017)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/155/47">J/AJ/155/47 : VRIJHK photometry of the T Tauri binary KH 15D (Aronow+, 2018)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/630/A119">J/A+A/630/A119 : Gaia DR2 distances to two clusters (Maiz, 2019)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/159/135</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/159/135</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/159/135</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/159/135</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/159/135</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/159/135</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/159/135/table1</name><description>VRIJHK photometry of V582 Mon</description><column><name>Obs</name><description>Observatory code (1)</description><ucd>meta.code;instr.obsty</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="4*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
