This ongoing r-band solar system survey uses the 0.9deg^2^ field of view MegaPrime camera on the 3.6m Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope. Our orbital elements for these TNOs are precise to a fractional semimajor axis uncertainty &lt;0.1%. We achieve this precision in just two oppositions, as compared to the normal three to five oppositions, via a dense observing cadence and innovative astrometric technique. These discoveries are free of ephemeris bias, a first for large trans-Neptunian surveys. We also provide the necessary information to enable models of TNO orbital distributions to be tested against our TNO sample. We confirm the existence of a cold "kernel" of objects within the main cold classical Kuiper Belt and infer the existence of an extension of the "stirred" cold classical Kuiper Belt to at least several au beyond the 2:1 mean motion resonance with Neptune. We find that the population model of Petit et al. remains a plausible representation of the Kuiper Belt. The full survey, to be completed in 2017, will provide an exquisitely characterized sample of important resonant TNO populations, ideal for testing models of giant planet migration during the early history of the solar system.</description><source format="bibcode">2016AJ....152...70B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/152/70</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/B/astorb">B/astorb : Orbits of Minor Planets (Bowell+ 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/546/A115">J/A+A/546/A115 : Colors of minor bodies in outer solar system (Hainaut+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/iau/MPCORB.html : Public catalog at the MPC</relatedResource><relatedResource>http://www.ossos-survey.org/ : OSSOS website</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/152/70</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/152/70</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/152/70</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/152/70</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/152/70</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/152/70</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/152/70/objects (Orbit and discovery properties of the characterized (table4), and the uncharacterized (table5) Outer Solar System Origins Survey (OSSOS) objects)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/152/70/objects?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/152/70/objects?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/152/70/objects?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>213.15</ra><dec>-13.587</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/6420 7712 11133 11191 11196 11197 11198 6/25684 30763 30856 30858 30859 30860 30882 44510 44511 44529 44531 44540 44541 44543 44755 44761 44762 44763 44781 44783 44796 44798</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/152/70?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/152/70/objects</name><description>Orbit and discovery properties of the characterized (table4), and the uncharacterized (table5) Outer Solar System Origins Survey (OSSOS) objects</description><column><name>j</name><description>[2/18]?
