We studied young stars that were forming or recently formed at and around the tip of a prominent molecular pillar and an infrared dark cloud. Using a combination of ground-based near-infrared, space-based infrared, and X-ray data, we constructed a point source catalog from which we identified 226 young stellar sources, which we classified into evolutionary classes. We studied their spatial distributions across the molecular gas structures and identified several groups that possibly belong to distinct young star clusters. We obtained samples of these groups and constructed K-band luminosity functions that we compared with those of artificial clusters, allowing us to make first order estimates of the mean ages and age spreads of the groups. We used a ^13^CO(1-0) map to investigate the gas kinematics at the prominent gaseous envelope of the central cluster in DR15, and we inferred that the removal of this envelope is relatively slow compared to other cluster regions, in which the gas dispersal timescale could be similar or shorter than the circumstellar disk dissipation timescale. The presence of other groups with slightly older ages, associated with much less prominent gaseous structures, may imply that the evolution of young clusters in this part of the complex proceeds in periods that last 3-5Myr, perhaps after a slow dissipation of their dense molecular cloud birthplaces.</description><source format="bibcode">2015AJ....150..191R</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/150/191</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/148/11">J/AJ/148/11 : Infrared photometry in Cygnus-X (Kryukova+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/144/31">J/AJ/144/31 : Spitzer+2MASS photometry of protostar candidates</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/720/679">J/ApJ/720/679 : Optical spectroscopy in Cygnus X region (Beerer+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/375/539">J/A+A/375/539 : JHK photometry of compact HII regions in Cyg X (Comeron+, 2001)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/241/551">J/A+A/241/551 : Radio continuum in Cygnus X region (Wendker+ 1991)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/150/191</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/150/191</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/150/191</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/150/191</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/150/191</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/150/191</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/150/191/sources (Sources in the DR15 region: Class I (table 2) , Class II (table 3) , and Class III (table 4))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/150/191/sources?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/150/191/sources?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/150/191/sources?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>308.092</ra><dec>40.3381111</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/14667 14670 14692</spatial><spectral>6.772611666688002e-21 1.6430465931405664e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/150/191?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/150/191/sources</name><description>Sources in the DR15 region: Class I (table 2) , Class II (table 3) , and Class III (table 4)</description><column><name>SimbadName</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="34*">char</dataType></column><column><name>Name</name><description>Source name (1)</description><ucd>meta.id;meta.main</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="27*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
