We report radial velocities for 695 stars, of which approximately 407 stars are confirmed or very likely members. Our results more than double the number of members with radial velocities from Furesz et al., resulting in a much better defined kinematic relationship between the stellar population and the associated molecular gas. In particular, we find that there is a significant subset of stars that are systematically blueshifted with respect to the molecular (^13^CO) gas. The detection of Lithium absorption and/or infrared excesses in this blueshifted population suggests that at least some of these stars are cluster members; we suggest some speculative scenarios to explain their kinematics. Our results also more clearly define the redshifted population of stars in the northern end of the cluster; we suggest that the stellar and gas kinematics of this region are the result of a bubble driven by the wind from O7 star S Mon. Our results emphasize the complexity of the spatial and kinematic structure of NGC 2264, important for eventually building up a comprehensive picture of cluster formation.</description><source format="bibcode">2015AJ....149..119T</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/149/119</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/138/1116">J/AJ/138/1116 : A Spitzer view of NGC 2264 (Sung+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/138/963">J/AJ/138/963 : Rotation of NGC 2264 members (Baxter+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/135/441">J/AJ/135/441 : VRIHa photometry in NGC 2264 (Sung+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/676/1109">J/ApJ/676/1109 : Velocities of stars in Orion Nebula Cluster (Furesz+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/648/1090">J/ApJ/648/1090 : Radial velocities of NGC 2264 stars (Furesz+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/127/2659">J/AJ/127/2659 : CHANDRA observations of NGC 2264 (Ramirez+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/123/1528">J/AJ/123/1528 : UBV(RI)c and JHK photometry in NGC 2264 (Rebull+, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/114/2644">J/AJ/114/2644 : UBVRIHa photometry of NGC2264 (Sung+, 1997)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/149/119</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/149/119</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/149/119</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/149/119</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/149/119</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/149/119</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/149/119/table3 (Velocity summary)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/149/119/table3?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/149/119/table3?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/149/119/table3?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>99.765625</ra><dec>9.6731667</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/23636 23637 23639</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/149/119?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/149/119/table3</name><description>Velocity summary</description><column><name>SimbadName</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="23*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
