The ONC is the nearest populous young (age ~1Myr) cluster and is therefore an important object for studies of the evolution of protoplanetary disks. Using the high spectral resolution of Hectochelle, we are able to distinguish stellar accretion and wind emission-line profiles from nebular emission lines and identify accreting members of the cluster from H{alpha} profiles with greater accuracy than previously possible. We find 15 new members on the basis of Li {lambda}6707 absorption and H{alpha} emission. Line profiles of H{alpha} of some objects that are not too contaminated by nebular emission show features characteristic of mass inflow and ejection. We also present rotational velocities as part of an initial investigation into angular momentum evolution of very young stars, confirming a difference between classical T Tauri stars and weak-line T Tauri stars that had been found from period analysis. Finally, we present an initial study of the radial velocity dispersion of the brighter stars in the central cluster. The very small dispersion derived, 1.8km/s, is in good agreement with estimates from proper motions.</description><source format="bibcode">2005AJ....129..363S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/129/363</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/113/1733">J/AJ/113/1733 : Orion Nebula Cluster population (Hillenbrand 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/116/1816">J/AJ/116/1816 : JHKLMNOPQ photometry in Orion cluster (Hillenbrand+, 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/396/513">J/A+A/396/513 : Stellar Rotation in the Orion Nebula Cluster (Herbst+, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/246">II/246 : 2MASS All-Sky Catalog of Point Sources (Cutri+ 2003)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/363</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/363</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/363</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/363</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/363</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/363</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/129/363/table1 (Results from 2003 December)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>83.621833</ra><dec>-5.399083</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AJ/129/363/table2 (Results from March 2004)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AJ/129/363/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>83.6188333</ra><dec>-5.4160556</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/21438 21439 22804 22805</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AJ/129/363?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/129/363/table1</name><description>Results from 2003 December</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
