Our improved orbit for the G6 V primary has a period of 1.8098343days and is circular. Although the lines of additional components have not been detected, radial velocity measurements confirm that the system has additional velocity variations with a period of 2092days, or 5.73yr. This long-period orbit has an eccentricity of 0.76. An analysis of the Hipparcos observations produces a well-determined astrometric orbit for the long-period system that has an inclination of 78{deg}. Mass estimates of the components in this zero-age main-sequence multiple system indicate that the unseen secondary in the 5.73yr orbit may also be a binary. Thus, HD 166181 is at least a triple system and possibly quadruple.</description><source format="bibcode">2005AJ....129.1001F</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/129/1001</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/362/223">J/A+A/362/223 : 1984-1998 BV photometry of V815 Her (Jetsu+, 2000)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AJ/129/1001</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AJ/129/1001/table1</name><description>Radial velocities of HD 166181</description><column><name>SPhase</name><description>[0/1] Phase in the short-period orbit ({Phi}_S_)</description><ucd>time.phase</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>RV</name><description>[-70.7/57.2] Radial velocity</description><unit>km/s</unit><ucd>phys.veloc;pos.heliocentric</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>w_RV</name><description>[0/1] Weight of RV</description><ucd>stat.weight</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>f_RV</name><description>[a] Flag on RV (a=lithium region) (1)</description><ucd>meta.code</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="1*">char</dataType></column><column><name>O-C</name><description>[-15.9/15.7] The radial velocity residual</description><unit>km/s</unit><ucd>stat.fit.residual;spect.dopplerVeloc</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>Obs</name><description>Observatory code (DDO, DAO, OHP, or KPNO) (2)</description><ucd>meta.code;instr.obsty</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="4*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
