(1985), 193 of which have also available broadband UBV colors. When available, photometric information is used to obtain estimates of the surface temperature for degenerates and for O- and B-type subdwarfs, based on previously derived calibrations. Several extremely hot (T(eff) greater than 50,000 K) He-rich sdO stars are identified. Out of 769 stars in this sample, 551 are clearly identified on the basis of their Balmer line profiles as field horizontal-branch (FHB) or mid-to late-type A stars. The A stars exhibit rotation and line-of-sight dispersion consistent with membership in the galactic thick disk. The FHB stars exhibit kinematic properties which suggest a transition from thick disk to halo.</description><source format="bibcode">1992AJ....103..267B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AJ/103/267</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/87/1515">J/AJ/87/1515 : UBV photometry of AB stars in halo (Pier, 1982)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/53/791">J/ApJS/53/791 : Spectroscopy of AB stars in halo (Pier, 1983)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/90/2089">J/AJ/90/2089 : Stars of very low metal abundance.
