These sample stars turned out to be divided into two distinct groups with respect to their P abundances. Chemically peculiar late B-type stars of HgMn group show considerable overabundances of P (supersolar by ~0.5-1.5dex), the extent of which progressively increases with Teff. In contrast, the P abundances of normal B-type stars are comparatively homogeneous, though a notable difference is observed between the LTE and non-LTE cases. Although their LTE abundances are near-solar, a slight gradual trend with Teff is observed. However, after applying the negative non-LTE corrections (amounting ~0.1-0.5dex), this Teff -dependence is successfully removed, but the resulting non-LTE abundances (their mean is ~5.20 ) are appreciably underabundant relative to the Sun by ~0.2-0.3dex. The cause of this systematic discrepancy, contradicting the galactic chemical evolution, is yet to be investigated.</description><source format="bibcode">2024AcA....74...43T</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/AcA/74/43</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AcA/74/43</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AcA/74/43</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/AcA/74/43</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AcA/74/43</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AcA/74/43</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/AcA/74/43</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/AcA/74/43/table1 (Program stars and the results of the analysis)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AcA/74/43/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AcA/74/43/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/AcA/74/43/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>69.0797581</ra><dec>-3.3524606</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/257 435 463 1044 1737 1826 2380 3127 3614 3637 3704 4206 4890 5805 7487 8772 9380 9680 9847 9849 9936 10130 11599 12546 12847 12914 13033 13161 13258 13780 14077 14264 14381 14541 14575 14581 14625 14682 14726 14945 15417 15604 16490 18566 19336 19384 19676 20862 21099 21110 21190 21456 21462 21467 22207 22645 22772 22888 23122 23255 23298 23675 23769 23776 23860 24186 25016 25939 27102 28943 29014 29138 29481 29853 30064 30088 30320 30325 31537 36651 48562 48856 48884 49109 49121</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/AcA/74/43?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/AcA/74/43/table1</name><description>Program stars and the results of the analysis</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
