Eleven of the quasars were previously known to be associated with extended emission line regions. After deconvolution of the image, substraction of the PSF when possible, and identification of companions with the help of HST archive images when available, extensions are seen for at least eleven quasars. However, average profiles are different from that of the PSF in only four objects, for which a good fit is obtained with an r^1/4^ law, suggesting that the underlying galaxies are ellipticals. Redshifts were available in the literature for surrounding objects in five quasar fields. For these objects, one to five companion galaxies were found. One quasar even belongs to a richness class 1 cluster. Most other quasars in our sample have nearby galaxies in projection which may also be companions. Environmental effects are therefore probably important to account for the properties of these objects.</description><source format="bibcode">1999A&amp;AS..135...83M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+AS/135/83</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/135/83</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+AS/135/83/table2 (Magnitudes and positions for quasars and nearby detected objets)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/135/83/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/135/83/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/135/83/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>60.7259731</ra><dec>-34.9239357</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/4340-4341 8452 8528 8812 19315 21955 25742 26499 27955 31983 34519 37650 38814 38836 40838</spatial><spectral>1.398457827073138e-19 1.7798557115773645e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+AS/135/83?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+AS/135/83/table2</name><description>Magnitudes and positions for quasars and nearby detected objets</description><column><name>Type</name><description>Type (3)</description><ucd>meta.code</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="3*">char</dataType></column><column><name>z</name><description>?
