The region searched comprises 200 square degrees, at 120deg<=l<=130deg, -10deg<=b<=+10deg. In addition to galactic, equatorial and rectangular coordinates, we list maximum and minimum optical diameters derived from both the red- and blue-sensitive prints, could assign a morphological type to some of the objects and made cross-checks with the IRAS PSC and several radio catalogues. A test for completeness suggests, that our catalogue should be complete down to a limiting galaxy-diameter of 0.35'. An asymmetric distribution of the galaxies with respect to the galactic equator was found and is discussed by comparing it with the locations of optically visible dust clouds and/or the distribution of IR-emitting dust material. A comparison between the distribution of the galaxies and the 100{mu} IRAS intensity maps led to the identification of four possible clusterings. As a byproduct of our galaxy search, two new planetary nebulae, nebulous stars at the position of a strong cold IRAS point source, and a nearby dwarf irregular galaxy could be detected.
1996A&AS..117..369L<referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+AS/117/369</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/110/269">J/A+AS/110/269 : Part I., |b|=5</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/117/1">J/A+AS/117/1 : Part II, 180<l<240</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/126/247">J/A+AS/126/247 : Part IV, 130<l<180, |b|<5</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/127/101">J/A+AS/127/101 : Part V, 90<l<110, |b|<10</relatedResource></relationship>
<rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+AS/117/369</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch">
Cone search capability for table J/A+AS/117/369/table2 (optically detected galaxies in the region 120<l<130, -10<b<+10)
<interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/117/369/table2?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/117/369/table2?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+AS/117/369/table2?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>7.656172</ra><dec>55.956902</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>4/236 5/723 726 729-733 735 741-743 752-754 904 906 923 926-927 935 948 950 952-953 6/2877-2879 2908 2910-2911 2913-2915 2936-2938 2957-2959 2961-2963 2996-2997 3020 3022-3024 3026-3030 3032-3034 3040-3041 3044-3045 3594-3595 3598 3620-3621 3623 3630 3632 3638-3639 3642 3644 3647 3681-3683 3686-3690 3698-3699 3702 3727 3732 3734 3762-3764 3767-3768 3773 3796-3798 3804 3816-3818 3824 3880</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+AS/117/369?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema>

optically detected galaxies in the region 120<l<130, -10<b<+10
<column>

Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
