The present work, which is the results of our warm Jupiters survey carried out with the CHIRON spectrograph within the KESPRINT collaboration, aims to address this challenge by studying two planets that could help bridge the gap between the two populations. We report the confirmation and mass determination of a hot Jupiter (orbital period shorter than 10 days), TOI-2420 b, and a warm Jupiter, TOI-2485 b. We performed a joint analysis using a wide variety of spectral and photometric data in order to characterize these planetary systems. We found that TOI-2420 b has an orbital period of P_b_=5.8 days, a mass of M_b_=0.9M_J_ and a radius of R_b_=1.3R_J_, with a planetary density of 0.477g/cm^3^; while TOI-2485 b has an orbital period of P_b_=11.2 days, a mass of M_b_=2.4M_J_ and a radius of R_b_=1.1R_J_ with density 2.36g/cm^3^. With current parameters, the migration history for TOI-2420 b and TOI-2485 b is unclear: the high-eccentricity migration scenarios cannot be ruled out, and TOI-2485 b's characteristics may rather support this scenario.</description><source format="bibcode">2024A&amp;A...690A..18C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/690/A18</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/690/A18</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/690/A18/toi-2420</name><description>Radial velocities acquired for TOI-2420</description><column><name>RV</name><description>Radial velocity or relative radial velocity for TRES data of TOI-2485</description><unit>km/s</unit><ucd>phys.veloc;pos.heliocentric</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>e_RV</name><description>Radial velocity uncertainty</description><unit>km/s</unit><ucd>stat.error</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>Inst</name><description>Name of the Instrument</description><ucd>meta.id;instr</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="6*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
