In the local Universe, its effect on the star-forming properties of the galaxies has been largely elucidated and the general consensus is that this process first compresses the gas available in galaxy disks, boosting the star formation for a limited amount of time, and then removes the remaining gas, leading to quenching. Much less is known about the effect and preponderance of RPS at higher redshifts, due to the lack of statistical samples. Exploiting VLT/MUSE observations of galaxies at 0.2&lt;z&lt;0.55 and a published catalog of ram-pressure-stripped galaxies, we compare the global star formation rate-mass (SFR-Mstar) relation of 29 cluster galaxies undergoing RPS to that of 26 undisturbed field and cluster galaxies that constitute our control sample. Stripping galaxies occupy the upper envelope of the SFR-Mstar relation of the control sample, showing a systematic enhancement of SFR at any given mass. The boost is &gt; 3sigma when considering the SFR occurring in both the tail and the disk of the galaxies. The enhancement is also seen on local scales: Considering spatially resolved data, ram-pressure stripped galaxies have large Sigma_SFR values overall, especially for Sigma_star &gt;10^7.5^M_{sun}_/kpc^2. RPS seems to leave the same imprint on the SFR-Mstar and Sigma_SFR-Sigma_star relations both in the local Universe and at z~0.35.</description><source format="bibcode">2024A&amp;A...682A.117V</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/682/A117</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/682/A117</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/682/A117/table1 (Properties of the galaxies analyzed in this paper)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/682/A117/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/682/A117/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/682/A117/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>3.58230833</ra><dec>-30.39939722</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/16486 17741 25451 25675 27387 34793 36089 46474 47463</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/682/A117?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/682/A117/table1</name><description>Properties of the galaxies analyzed in this paper</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
