We study the stellar mass functions of different galaxy populations in groups as a function of their large scale environments using multi-frequency observations. We crossmatch the SDSS DR10 group catalogue with GAMA Data Release 2 and Wide-field Survey Explorer (WISE) data to construct a catalogue of 1651 groups and 11436 galaxies containing photometric information in 15 different wavebands ranging from ultraviolet (0.152-micron) to mid-infrared (22-micron). We perform the spectral energy distribution (SED) fitting of galaxies using the MAGPHYS code and estimate the rest frame luminosities and stellar masses. We use the 1/Vmax method to estimate the galaxy stellar mass and luminosity functions, and the luminosity density field of galaxies to define the large scale environment of galaxies. The stellar mass functions of both central and satellite galaxies in groups are different in low and high density large scale environments. Satellite galaxies in high density environments have a steeper low mass end slope compared to low density environments, independently of the galaxy morphology. Central galaxies in low density environments have a steeper low mass end slope but the difference disappears for fixed galaxy morphology. The characteristic stellar mass of satellite galaxies is higher in high density environments and the difference exists only for galaxies with elliptical morphologies. Galaxy formation in groups is more efficient in high density large scale environments. Groups in high density environments have higher abundances of satellite galaxies, irrespective of the satellite galaxy morphology. The elliptical satellite galaxies are generally more massive in high density environments. The stellar masses of spiral satellite galaxies show no dependence on the large scale environment.</description><source format="bibcode">2016A&amp;A...590A..29P</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/590/A29</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/566/A1">J/A+A/566/A1 : SDSS galaxies flux- and volume-limited groups (Tempel+, 2014)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/590/A29</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/590/A29/fitgal (Catalog of galaxies)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/590/A29/fitgal?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/590/A29/fitgal?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/590/A29/fitgal?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>178.9039533</ra><dec>1.2371817</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>4/1622 1642 1685 5/1024-1026 5461-5463 5469 6399 6479 6483-6484 6486-6487 6492-6493 6501 6512 6563 6572 6739 6748 6825-6828 6830 6912-6913 6/4108 4110 4112 4128-4130 8194 8200 8202 8226 21843 21873 21884 25589-25591 25593-25595 25909-25911 25913-25915 25925-25927 25929-25931 25940 25942-25943 25976-25978 25980-25981 26001 26003 26013 26015 26052-26054 26056-26058 26249-26251 26266 26296-26298 26300-26301 26344 26949-26951 26981 26996-26998 27278-27279 27290 27297 27299 27318 27324 27656-27658 40957 40959 45039 45050-45051</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/590/A29?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/590/A29/fitgal</name><description>Catalog of galaxies</description><column><name>SimbadName</name><description>Simbad column added by the CDS</description><ucd>meta.id</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="24*">char</dataType></column><column><name>Ngal</name><description>Group richness (1)</description><ucd>src.class.richness</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
