Solar twins and analogues provide a means to test the calibration of these stellar catalogues because the Sun is the best-studied star and provides precise fundamental parameters. Solar twins should be centred on the solar values. This spectroscopic study of solar analogues selected from the Geneva-Copenhagen Survey (GCS) at a resolution of 48000 provides effective temperatures and metallicities for these stars. We test whether our spectroscopic parameters, as well as the previous photometric calibrations, are properly centred on the Sun. In addition, we search for more solar twins in our sample. The methods used in this work are based on literature methods for solar twin searches and on methods we developed in previous work to distinguish the metallicity-temperature degeneracies in the differential comparison of spectra of solar analogues versus a reference solar reflection spectrum.</description><source format="bibcode">2015A&amp;A...574A.124D</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/574/A124</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/410/527">J/A+A/410/527 : Abundances in the Galactic disk (Bensby+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/487/373">J/A+A/487/373 : Spectroscopic parameters of 451 HARPS-GTO stars (Sousa+, 2008)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/574/A124</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/574/A124/table1 (List of effective temperatures, metallicities and gravities)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/574/A124/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/574/A124/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/574/A124/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>5.7157853</ra><dec>-12.2094361</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/151 222 377 398 418 634 712 719 1028 4128 4241 4244 4313 4665 4867 4926 5143 5166 8286 16723 17219 17425 17435 17486 17507 17606 17812 17989 18373 18444 19156 19830 20746 20872 21114 21177 21256 21574 21594 21905 22125 22240 22692 22746 22810 22868 22939 22990 23150 23414 23479 23511 23513 23545-23546 23787 24090 24226 24273 24312 24373 25064 25115 25140 25225 25311 25692 25793 25966 26626 26647 26768 26809 26942 27254 27305 27750 29513 30463 30878 31027 31287 31945 33063 33201 33252 33416 33510 33653 33756 33914 34096 34111 34517 34638 34739 34924 35064 35121 35349 35383 35423 35668 35968 36057 36590 37832 37890 38112 38342 38977 39213 39364 39487 39557 39693 39915 40177 40220 40426 40682 40892 40921 40932 41336 41446 41912 42146 42287 42760 42933 43760 43876 44131 44401 44740 45121 45422 45621 45639 45917 46170 46306 46325 46482 46734 47584</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/574/A124?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/574/A124/table5</name><description>List of spectral lines used in the four line lists, sorted by element</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
