However, most of these studies were restricted to the inner parts (&lt;=1 square-degree) of the nebula, and thus covered only a small fraction of the whole cloud complex. Our aim was to conduct a near-infrared survey that covers the full spatial extent (~5 square-degrees) of the Carina Nebula complex and is sensitive enough to detect all associated young stars through extinctions of up to A_V_~~6mag. We used the 4m Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) of ESO to map an area of 6.7 square-degrees around the Carina Nebula in the near-infrared J-, H-, Ks-bands.</description><source format="bibcode">2014A&amp;A...572A.116P</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/572/A116</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/423/579">J/A+A/423/579 : Diffuse emissions in Carina nebula (Mizutani+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/667/963">J/ApJ/667/963 : Near-infrared photometry of Carina nebula (Sanchawala+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/739/100">J/ApJ/739/100 : [NII] observations of Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) (Oberst+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/194/2">J/ApJS/194/2 : Chandra Carina Complex Project (CCCP) catalog (Broos+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/549/A67">J/A+A/549/A67 : Embedded YSOs in Carina Nebula complex (Gaczkowski+, 2013)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/565/A107">J/A+A/565/A107 : Globulettes in the Carina nebula (Grenman+, 2014)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/567/A109">J/A+A/567/A109 : Carina nebula optically identified YSOs (Kumar+, 2014)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/572/A116</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/572/A116/catalog (Near-infrared photometry catalog for the sources detected in the VISTA Carina Nebula Survey)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/572/A116/catalog?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/572/A116/catalog?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/572/A116/catalog?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>158.3891667</ra><dec>-60.7915278</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/9333 9504 6/37247 37341 37930-37931 37934 38020-38022 38024-38025</spatial><spectral>8.643406281242892e-20 1.6978332528839141e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/572/A116?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/572/A116/catalog</name><description>Near-infrared photometry catalog for the sources detected in the VISTA Carina Nebula Survey</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
