We construct a large, deep sample of galaxies selected using the new UltraVISTA DR1 data release (Cat. J/A+A/544/A156). Our analysis is based on precise 30-band photometric redshifts. By comparing these photometric redshifts with 10800 spectroscopic redshifts from the zCOSMOS bright (Cat. J/ApJS/172/70) and faint (Lilly et al. in prep) surveys, we find an accuracy of sigma(dz/(1+z))=0.008 at i&lt;22.5 and sigma(dz/(1+z))=0.03 at 1.5&lt;z&lt;4.</description><source format="bibcode">2013A&amp;A...556A..55I</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/556/A55</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/II/284">II/284 : COSMOS Multi-Wavelength Photometry Catalog (Capak+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/544/A156">J/A+A/544/A156 : UltraVISTA Catalogue Release DR1 (McCracken+, 2012)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/172/70">J/ApJS/172/70 : zCOSMOS-bright catalog (Lilly+, 2007)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/556/A55</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/556/A55/uvista (Photometry, photometric redshifts and physical parameters (v1.2))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/556/A55/uvista?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/556/A55/uvista?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/556/A55/uvista?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>150.0776</ra><dec>1.59455</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>5/6814 6/27245 27247 27344</spatial><spectral>2.367228618189496e-19 4.920466254354166e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/556/A55?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/556/A55/uvista</name><description>Photometry, photometric redshifts and physical parameters (v1.2)</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
