Our goal is to provide extensive energy levels and radiative transitions data for nineteen ionization stages of scandium relevant to stellar interiors, namely from Sc III to Sc XXI. We used the FAC code. This code provides ab initio theoretical values for energy levels in jj-coupling and oscillator strengths of all permitted transitions. Detailed correspondences are established with compiled data from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) database, to locate as much as possible the observed levels and lines at their experimental values and to estimate the quality of our data. Comparisons were also made with the spectroscopic data delivered by Kurucz. The theoretical data retained in tables include 21842 levels and more than two millions transitions. By comparison, the NIST compilation gives a total of 820 levels and 677 gf-values. The good agreement obtained when comparing the new data with those of the NIST compilation demonstrates their quality. This work on scandium shows that the FAC code is efficient in providing spectroscopic data that are unavailable from laboratory analyses but necessary for accurate simulations of stellar plasmas.</description><source format="bibcode">2012A&amp;A...538A..52M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/538/A52</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/538/A52</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/538/A52/table4</name><description>*Wavelengths and gf-values for Sc III to Sc XXI</description><column><name>lambda</name><description>[0.2,] Wavelength in vacuum</description><unit>nm</unit><ucd>em.wl;phys.atmol.transition</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType><flag>indexed</flag></column><column><name>log(gf)</name><description>Weighted oscillator strength gf (log10)</description><ucd>phys.atmol.oscStrength</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>Ion</name><description>[21.02/21.20] Ion code for ScIII to ScXXI</description><ucd>meta.code;phys.atmol.ionStage</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>Elow</name><description>Excitation energy of the lower level</description><unit>cm**-1</unit><ucd>phys.energy;phys.atmol.excitation</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>Jlow</name><description>[0/11] Total angular momentum of lower level</description><ucd>phys.angMomentum</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>Eup</name><description>Excitation energy of the upper level</description><unit>cm**-1</unit><ucd>phys.energy;phys.atmol.excitation</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>Jup</name><description>[0/12] Total angular momentum of upper level</description><ucd>phys.angMomentum</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">float</dataType></column><column><name>nllow</name><description>Outer electron subshell for the lower level</description><ucd>phys.atmol.configuration</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="3*">char</dataType></column><column><name>nlup</name><description>Outer electron subshell for the upper level</description><ucd>phys.atmol.configuration</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="3*">char</dataType></column><column><name>Flag</name><description>Flag for a comparison with NIST (G1)</description><ucd>meta.code.error</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="5*">char</dataType></column><column><name>lambdaN</name><description>?
