It is unexpectedly bloated and is losing mass which may accrete into the host star. Our aim was to refine parameters of this intriguing system and search for signs of transit timing variations. We gathered high-precision light curves of two transits of WASP-12b. Assuming various limb darkening laws, we generated best-fitting models and redetermined parameters of the system. Error estimates were derived by the prayer bread method and Monte Carlo simulations. System's parameters obtained by us were found to agree with previous studies within one sigma. Use of the non-linear limb darkening laws resulted in the best- fitting models. With two new mid-transit times, the ephemeris was refined to BJD_TDB_=(2454508.97682+/-0.00020)+(1.09142245+/-0.00000033)E. Interestingly, indications for transit timing variation were detected at the level of 3.4 sigma. This signal could be induced by an additional planet in the system. Simplified numerical simulations showed that a perturber could be a terrestrial-type planet if both planets are in a low-order orbital resonance. However, we emphasise that further observations are needed to confirm variation and to put constraints on properties of the perturber.</description><source format="bibcode">2011A&amp;A...528A..65M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/528/A65</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/408/1680">J/MNRAS/408/1680 : Transiting planetary system WASP-2 (Southworth+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/399/287">J/MNRAS/399/287 : Transiting planetary system WASP-4 (Southworth+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/137/3826">J/AJ/137/3826 : Two transits of the giant planet WASP-4b (Winn+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/MNRAS/396/1023">J/MNRAS/396/1023 : Transiting planetary system WASP-5 (Southworth+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/501/785">J/A+A/501/785 : Discovery and characterization of WASP-6b (Gillon+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/527/A8">J/A+A/527/A8 : Transiting planetary system WASP-7 (Southworth+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/517/L1">J/A+A/517/L1 : Radial velocities of WASP-8b planet (Queloz+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/502/391">J/A+A/502/391 : WASP-13b photometry and radial velocities (Skillen+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJ/707/167">J/ApJ/707/167 : Transiting planetary system WASP-18 (Southworth+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/513/L3">J/A+A/513/L3 : H-band thermal emission of WASP-19b (Anderson+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/519/A98">J/A+A/519/A98 : Transit of exoplanet WASP-21b (Bouchy+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/520/A56">J/A+A/520/A56 : WASP-26b RV and photometric data (Smalley+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/526/L10">J/A+A/526/L10 : Photometic follow-up of WASP-33 (Herrero+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/526/A130">J/A+A/526/A130 : WASP-34b photometry and radial velocities (Smalley+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/525/A54">J/A+A/525/A54 : Transits of WASP-38b (Barros+, 2011)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/528/A65</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/528/A65/rv</name><description>*Light curve observed on 2 and 26 Feb, 2010</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
