We present an effective temperature calibration for FGK dwarf stars using line equivalent width ratios of spectral absorption lines. The ratios of spectral line equivalent width can be very sensitive to effective temperature variations for a well chosen combination of lines. We use the automatic code ARES to measure the equivalent width of several spectral lines, and use these to calibrate with the precise effective temperature derived from spectroscopy presented in a previous work.</description><source format="bibcode">2010A&amp;A...512A..13S</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/512/A13</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/458/873">J/A+A/458/873 : Stellar parameters of metal-rich solar-type stars (Sousa+ 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/469/783">J/A+A/469/783 : Code for automatic determination of EW (ARES) (Sousa+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/487/373">J/A+A/487/373 : Spectroscopic parameters of 451 HARPS-GTO stars (Sousa+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/497/563">J/A+A/497/563 : Chemical abundances of 451 stars (Neves+, 2009)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/512/A13</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/512/A13/table2</name><description>EW line-ratio calibration coefficients</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
