We propose a procedure that implies a selection of events for asteroids with accurately determined orbits crossing the CCD field containing selected quasars. Using a Bulirsch-Stoer numerical integrator, we constructed 8-years (2010-2018) ephemerides for a set of 836 numbered near-Earth asteroids (NEAs). We searched for close encounters (within a typical field of view of groundbased telescopes) between our selected set of asteroids and quasars with high-accuracy astrometric positions extracted from the Large Quasars Astrometric Catalog (LQAC). In the designated period (2010-2018), we found a number of 2924, 14257, and 6972 close approaches (within 10') between asteroids with a minimum solar elongation value of 60 degrees and quasars from the ICRF-Ext2, the Very Large Baseline Array Calibrator Survey (VLBA-CS), and the Very Large Array (VLA), respectively. This large number of close encounters provides the observational basis needed to investigate the link between the dynamical reference frame and the ICRF.</description><source format="bibcode">2010A&amp;A...509A..27N</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/509/A27</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/127/3587">J/AJ/127/3587 : VLBI-Ext2 (Fey+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/141/13">J/ApJS/141/13 : First VLBA calibrator survey: VCS1 catalog (Beasley+, 2002)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/126/2562">J/AJ/126/2562 : Second VLBA calibrator survey: VCS2 (Fomalont+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/129/1163">J/AJ/129/1163 : Third VLBA calibrator survey: VCS3 (Petrov+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AJ/131/1872">J/AJ/131/1872 : Fourth VLBA calibrator survey: VCS4 (Petrov+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/494/799">J/A+A/494/799 : Large Quasar Astrometric Catalogue (LQAC) (Souchay+, 2009)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/509/A27</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/509/A27/appulses (Near Earth Asteroids - Quasars appulses between 2010 and 2018)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/509/A27/appulses?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/509/A27/appulses?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/509/A27/appulses?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>14.4536806</ra><dec>30.3524478</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/35 48 175 421 438 514 546 967 1576 2214 2605 4179 4194 4486 4708 4746 5470 5546 5848 6153 6174 6501 6507 10337 11009 13067 13153 13820 16813 17106 17159 17366 18155 18458 18504 18506 18718 18766 18772 18981 19088 19308 19997 20144 20195 20476 20984 21266 21758 22057 22224 22359 22501 22659 22711 22917 23127 24349 24790 24861 25083 25354 28269 28315 28318 29017 29074 29714 30566 31176 31252 31547 31559 31792 32266 34571 35274 36343 37385 38189 38277 40637 40891 42696 44069 44149 44600 44724 44729 44799 46810 46851 47534 48320 48422 48533 48715 48797 48918 48952 49002</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/509/A27?format=ascii</footprint></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/509/A27/appulses</name><description>Near Earth Asteroids - Quasars appulses between 2010 and 2018</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
