We report the detection of an additional planet - GJ 581e - with a minimum mass of 1.9M_{earth}_. With a period of 3.15 days, it is the innermost planet of the system and has a ~5% transit probability. We also correct our previous confusion about the orbital period of GJ 581d (the outermost planet) with a one-year alias, benefitting from an extended time span and many more measurements. The revised period is 66.8 days, and positions the semi-major axis inside the habitable zone of the low mass star. The dynamical stability of the 4-planet system imposes an upper bound on the orbital plane inclination. The planets cannot be more massive than approximately 1.6 times their minimum mass.</description><source format="bibcode">2009A&amp;A...507..487M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/507/487</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/469/L43">J/A+A/469/L43 : Radial velocities of Gl 581 (Udry+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/474/293">J/A+A/474/293 : Radial velocities of GJ 674 (Bonfils+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/493/639">J/A+A/493/639 : Velocity curves of HD 40307 (Mayor+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/493/645">J/A+A/493/645 : Gl 176 radial velocities (Forveille+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/496/513">J/A+A/496/513 : RV of 6 stars with long-period giant planets (Moutou+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/496/521">J/A+A/496/521 : Radial velocities of HD45364 (Correia+, 2009)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/512/A46">J/A+A/512/A46 : Radial velocities of BD-08 2823 (Hebrard+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/512/A47">J/A+A/512/A47 : Radial velocities of 3 stars with giant planets (Santos+ 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/512/A48">J/A+A/512/A48 : HD125612, HD215497, HIP5158 HARPS RV curves (Lo Curto+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/523/A15">J/A+A/523/A15 : RV data for the 8 targets (Naef+, 2010)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/526/A111">J/A+A/526/A111 : HD 85390, 90156 and 103197 radial velocity (Mordasini+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/526/A112">J/A+A/526/A112 : Radial velocities of HARPS metail-poor sample (Santos+ 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/526/A141">J/A+A/526/A141 : HIP 85647 &amp; Gl 676A radial velocities (Forveille+, 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/527/A63">J/A+A/527/A63 : 7 new HARPS planetary systems radial velocities (Moutou+ 2011)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/528/A112">J/A+A/528/A112 : Radial velocities of HD 10180 (Lovis+, 2011)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/507/487</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/507/487</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/507/487</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/507/487</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/507/487</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/507/487</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/507/487/table1</name><description>Radial velocity and Ca II H+K for GJ 581</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
