To gain information on the typical level of coronal activity at a star's intermediate age, we studied the X-ray emission from stars in the 1.9Gyr old open cluster NGC 752. We analysed a ~140ks Chandraobservation of NGC 752 and a ~50ks XMM-Newtonobservation of the same cluster. We detected 262 X-ray sources in the Chandra data and 145 sources in the XMM-Newton observation. Around 90% of the catalogued cluster members within Chandra's field-of-view are detected in the X-ray. The X-ray luminosity of all observed cluster members (28 stars) and of 11 cluster member candidates was derived.</description><source format="bibcode">2008A&amp;A...490..113G</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/490/113</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/PASP/106/281">J/PASP/106/281 : Photometry and radial velocities in NGC 752 (Daniel+, 1994)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/87/69">J/A+AS/87/69 : Photometry and radial velocities in NGC 752 (Daniel+, 1994)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/339/423">J/A+A/339/423 : Velocities of red giants in NGC 752 (Mermilliod+ 1998)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/490/113</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/490/113</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/490/113</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/490/113</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/490/113</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/490/113</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/490/113/table7 (*X-ray sources detected with Pwxdetect in the XMM observation of the open cluster NGC 752.)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table7?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table7?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table7?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>29.120417</ra><dec>37.856111</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/490/113/table6 (*X-ray sources detected with Pwdetect in the Chandra observation of the open cluster NGC 752 (energy band {Delta}E=0.5-2.0keV))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table6?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table6?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/490/113/table6?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>29.177083</ra><dec>37.756944</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/2436</spatial><spectral>8.650015785639275e-20 1.7003137259100215e-19</spectral><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/490/113?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>X-ray</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/490/113/table7</name><description>*X-ray sources detected with Pwxdetect in the XMM observation of the open cluster NGC 752.</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
