The Dirac atomic R-matrix code (DARC) is adopted for the calculations of collision strengths and subsequently the effective collision strengths. Collision strengths for resonance transitions among 89 levels arising from the (1s^2^) 2s^2^2p^6^, 2s^2^2p^5^3l, 2s2p^6^3l, 2s^2^2p^5^4l, and 2s2p^6^4l configurations of NiXIX are reported over a wide energy range below 250Ryd. Additionally, effective collision strengths for all 3916 transitions among the 89 levels are listed over a wide temperature range below 10^7^K. Comparisons are made among different calculations and the accuracy of the data is assessed. Finally, comparisons between theoretical and experimental intensity ratios of some prominent lines of NiXIX are discussed.</description><source format="bibcode">2008A&amp;A...488..365A</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/488/365</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/427/763">J/A+A/427/763 : Fe X E1, E2,M1 and M2 transitions (Aggarwal+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/439/1215">J/A+A/439/1215 : Fe X effective collision strengths (Aggarwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/399/799">J/A+A/399/799 : Fe XI effective collision strengths (Aggarwal+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/418/371">J/A+A/418/371 : Fe XIII electron impact excitation (Aggarwal+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/429/1117">J/A+A/429/1117 : Fe XIII effective collision strengths (Aggarwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/121/265">J/ApJS/121/265 : Fe XV oscillator Strengths and Radiative Rates (Deb+, 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/410/349">J/A+A/410/349 : Fe XV effective collision strengths (Aggarwal+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/450/1249">J/A+A/450/1249 : Fe XVI radiative and excitation rates (Aggarwal+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/420/783">J/A+A/420/783 : Fe XVII electron impact excitation (Aggarwal+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/416/383">J/A+A/416/383 : Fe XVIII transition probabilities (Jonauskas+, 2004)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/ApJS/123/311">J/ApJS/123/311 : O III excitation rate coefficients (Aggarwal+, 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/407/769">J/A+A/407/769 : Ca XV excitation rates for transitions (Aggarwal+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/432/1151">J/A+A/432/1151 : Al XIII electron impact excitation (Aggarwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/436/1141">J/A+A/436/1141 : Ar XIII, Ar XIV + Ar XV radiative rates (Aggarwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/441/831">J/A+A/441/831 : Ar XVII electron impact excitation (Aggarwal+, 2005)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/460/331">J/A+A/460/331 : Fe IX radiative and excitation rates (Aggarwal+, 2006)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/463/399">J/A+A/463/399 : Fe XVI radiative rates (Aggarwal+, 2007)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/484/879">J/A+A/484/879 : Fe XXVII radiative and excitation rates (Aggarwal+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/487/383">J/A+A/487/383 : Ar XVIII radiative and excitation rates (Aggarwal+, 2008)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/486/1053">J/A+A/486/1053 : O IV radiative and excitation rates (Aggarwal+, 2008)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/488/365</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/488/365</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/488/365</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/488/365</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/488/365</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/488/365</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/488/365/table1</name><description>Target levels of NiXIX and their threshold energies (in Ryd)</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
