These observations were obtained as a support for a high-dispersion spectroscopic study, results of which will be published separately. It was found that radial velocities and photometric observations spanning 53 years can be reconciled with the linear ephemeris T_(prim.min.)_=HJD 2440182.25628(46) + 0.698095113(29)days x E, where the rms errors of the last digits are given in brackets. Masses of the stars are 1.02 and 0.97 solar masses and the binary separation is 4.170 solar radii. There is still a large uncertainty in the stellar radii. We also report the discovery of rapid light variations on a time scale of hours seen in the U band light curve and offer a few thoughts on the future investigation of this binary.</description><source format="bibcode">2004A&amp;A...415..289H</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/415/289</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/402/745">J/A+A/402/745 : Radial velocities of ER Vul (Duemmler+, 2003)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/AN/323/31">J/AN/323/31 : UBVR light curves of ER Vul and RT And (Ekmekci+, 2002)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/415/289</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/415/289</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/415/289</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/415/289</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/415/289</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/415/289</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband><waveband>Infrared</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/415/289/table4</name><description>Heliocentric Julian dates, (U,B,V,R,I) magnitudes and weights of photometric observations of ER Vul</description><column><name>HJD</name><description>Heliocentric Julian date of observation</description><ucd>time.epoch</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">double</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
