These data confirm the membership of 47 stars, 12 of which (26% ) are spectroscopic binaries; three preliminary orbits have been determined in NGC 3960. From Washington photometry of 8 red giant members, the metallicity of NGC 6259 is found to be [Fe/H]=0.06+/-0.08. At the age of these clusters, most of the red giants are observed in the core-helium (clump) burning phase, the general morphology of which is well reproduced by theoretical models with convective overshooting. However, a number of bona fide cluster giant members are found significantly to the red of the isochrones fitting the rest of the CMD of these and a few other clusters. Some of these stars are binaries, but others seem to be single. In either case, their red colours and/or low luminosities remain unexplained by current stellar evolution theory.</description><source format="bibcode">2001A&amp;A...375...30M</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/375/30</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/299/53">J/A+A/299/53 : Red giants in NGC 3680 and IC 4651 (Mermilliod+, 1995)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/307/80">J/A+A/307/80 : Velocities of red giants in NGC 2099 (Mermilliod+ 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/319/481">J/A+A/319/481 : Radial velocities of 10 spect. binaries (Mermilliod+ 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/324/91">J/A+A/324/91 : Melotte 71 red giants radial velocities (Mermilliod+ 1997)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/339/423">J/A+A/339/423 : Velocities of red giants in NGC 752 (Mermilliod+ 1998)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+AS/134/301">J/A+AS/134/301 : NGC 2354 red giants (Claria+ 1999)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/423/189">J/A+A/423/189 : NGC 2477 red giants UBV phot. &amp; RV (Eigenbrod+, 2004)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/375/30</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/375/30</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/375/30</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/375/30</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/375/30</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/375/30</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc"/><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/375/30/table1</name><description>CORAVEL radial-velocity data</description><column><name>Cluster</name><description>Cluster name</description><ucd>meta.id.parent</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="8*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
