This study supplements the identification program of a complete sample of sources with CR&gt;=0.5cts/s presented previously. Spectroscopic identifications are presented for 70 of 77 sources, 5 sources are identified by other means, and subsidiary information is given for 2 as yet unidentified sources. In practically all cases, a unique optical counterpart exists. As for the brighter fraction of the sample, the largest source classes are Seyfert 1 galaxies, magnetic cataclysmic variables, and hot white dwarfs. In the Galactic Pole caps at |b|&gt;400, Seyfert galaxies dominate, whereas at intermediate latitudes galactic objects as magnetic cataclysmic variables and white dwarfs become relatively more frequent.</description><source format="bibcode">1999A&amp;A...347...47B</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/347/47</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/IX/10">IX/10 : ROSAT All-Sky Bright Source Catalogue (1RXS) (Voges+ 1996)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/J/A+A/335/467">J/A+A/335/467 : High galactic latitude RASS X-ray sources (Thomas+ 1998)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/347/47</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/347/47</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/347/47</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/347/47</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/347/47</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/347/47</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/347/47/table3 (Summary of optical identification program of new bright soft high-galactic-latitude RASS sources with HR1&lt;0.)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/347/47/table3?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/347/47/table3?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/347/47/table3?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>1.694583</ra><dec>-33.386389</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/4144 4377 4653 4675 5267 5756 5913 6033 6045 6118 7526 8246 9611 9656 10372 10975 11621 11963 16431 16436 16451 19931 20507 20678 21075 21124 21180 22830 22977 27199 27689 30878 32781 32909 33233 33472 33498 33501 33620 33754 34009 34034-34035 34234 34297 34348 34454 34584 35081 35154 35180 35240 35611 35787 36458 37547 38804 46108 46143 46172 46191 46260 46280 46327 46506 46647 46677 46692 46704 46787 47029 47050 47470 48500</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/347/47?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>X-ray</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/347/47/table3</name><description>Summary of optical identification program of new bright soft high-galactic-latitude RASS sources with HR1&lt;0.</description><column><name>Notes</name><description>Notes (1)</description><ucd>meta.note</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="7*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
