With the use of multifiber spectroscopy, we measured 180 new velocities of galaxies in the central part of A 3367 and in the external regions of A 548. The redshift histogram shows the presence of three velocity peaks, at v~12000km/s, v~30000km/s and v~40000km/s, respectively. For these we estimate the density excess, the mean velocity, and the velocity dispersion. The first clump corresponds to an elongation of A 548: in particular we found a correspondence between the features of this peak and the substructures of A 548. The second peak has a velocity dispersion which is typical of clusters and the distribution of its members on the plane of the sky corresponds to the highest density peak in A 3367. We therefore suggest that the name A 3367 has to be attributed to this clump. Our general conclusion is that, differently from expected, A 548 and A 3367 do not form a close pair of merging clusters, since the two structures are at significantly different redshifts. Moreover, we found that the complex dynamical structure of A 548 has large coherence, with a projected extension in the range of 1-3h^-1^Mpc.</description><source format="bibcode">1998A&amp;A...337...17A</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/337/17</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/337/17</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/337/17</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/337/17</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/337/17</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/337/17</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/337/17</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/337/17/tables (Velocities (tables 2 to 7))</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/337/17/tables?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/337/17/tables?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/337/17/tables?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>87.475</ra><dec>-24.388861</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/20705 20707-20708 20710 20713 20716</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/337/17?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/337/17/tables</name><description>Velocities (tables 2 to 7)</description><column><name>Field</name><description>Field designation (1)</description><ucd>obs.field</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType" arraysize="4*">char</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
