The four CS isotopomers were detected in 20 star forming regions with galactocentric distances between 3 and 9kpc. From a comparison of line velocities, the C^33^S J=2-1 rest frequency is ~250kHz below the value given in the Lovas (1992) catalog. Taking ^12^C/^13^C ratios from Wilson &amp; Rood (1994) and assuming equal ^12^C^32^S and ^13^C^32^S excitation temperatures and beam filling factors, ^12^C^32^S opacities are in the range 3 to 15; average ^32^S/^34^S and ^34^S/^33^S isotope ratios are 24.4+/-5.0 and 6.27+/-1.01, respectively. While no systematic variation in the ^34^S/^33^S isotope ratio is found, the ^32^S/^34^S ratio increases with galactocentric distance when accounting for the ^12^C/^13^C gradient of the galactic disk. A fit to the unweighted data yields ^32^S/^34^S=3.3+/-0.5(D_GC_/kpc)+4.1+/-3.1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.84. Since the interstellar sulfur (S) isotopes are synthesized by oxygen burning in massive stars, consequences for nucleosynthesis and models of chemical evolution are briefly discussed.</description><source format="bibcode">1996A&amp;A...305..960C</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/305/960</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/305/960</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/305/960</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/305/960</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/305/960</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/305/960</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/305/960</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/305/960/table1 (Line parameters from unsmoothed J=2-1 spectra of the four measured CS isotopomers)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/305/960/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/305/960/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/305/960/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>83.809055</ra><dec>-5.375149</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/21439 41805 41812 41820 42159 42169 42172 42376 42391 42396 42398 42445 42449 42451 42456-42457 42497-42498 43013 43021</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/305/960?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Radio</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/305/960/table1</name><description>Line parameters from unsmoothed J=2-1 spectra of the four measured CS isotopomers</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
