Hazard, D. Reimers and J. Surdej, respectively. Some of these candidates, selected for having close companions (within 5 arcseconds), were imaged in several filters and their colours compared. Low dispersion spectra of the most promising candidates were also obtained at the NOT and ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT). None of these has proved to be strong candidates of gravitational lensing effects. We present this new sample of QSOs and combine it with previously published optical QSO samples in a statistical analysis to yield constraints on flat cosmologies and galaxy velocity dispersions.</description><source format="bibcode">1995A&amp;A...300..323J</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/J/A+A/300/323</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/300/323</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/300/323</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=J/A+A/300/323</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/300/323</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/300/323</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=J/A+A/300/323</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table J/A+A/300/323/table1 (The complete observational list of the 168 QSOs in the NOT sample)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/300/323/table1?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/300/323/table1?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/J/A+A/300/323/table1?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>0.8454709</ra><dec>-26.0546697</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><spatial>6/171 419 515 532 566 575 659 4239 4259 4268 4273-4274 4279 4283 4313 4315 4329 4332 4339 4347 4521 4613 4693 4862 4914 4923 4997 5009 5014 5016 5090 5098 5272 5350 5395 5472 5486 5671 5753 5755 5836-5838 5844 5952 5974 6234 6252 6264 6266-6268 6434 6641 6686 6853 7707 7709 7716 7722 7730 7737 7785 7815 7847 7857-7859 8376 8523 8548 8625 8638 9112 9268 9272 9457 9459 9467 9489 9491 9496 9633 9705 9871 10084 10206 10214 10217 10333 10501 10521 10545 10629 10736 10912 10939 11370 11543 11581 11596 11603 11608 11639-11640 11723 11725 12690 12722 12886 13603 13625 13864 15300 16034 16043 16059 16269 16589 16656 17828 17849 17885 17917 18171 18417 18880 19166 19204 19315 19398 19510 19519 19536 19566 19661 19700 19723 19757 19842 20019 20099 21178 21180 22549 22576 22580 22593-22594 25932 26009 26111 27951 28039 28042 28086 28499 28580-28581 30047 31857 35772</spatial><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/J/A+A/300/323?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>J/A+A/300/323/table1</name><description>The complete observational list of the 168 QSOs in the NOT sample</description><column><name>GLc</name><description>See Note (1)</description><ucd>meta.ref;pos.frame</ucd><dataType xsi:type="vs:VOTableType">int</dataType></column><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
