The positions of the stars given in the catalog are those at the mean epoch of observations. The coordinates of the catalog are based on the FK5 system, and are referred to the equinox and equator of J2000.0. The positions of five major and nine minor planets are also given in the present catalog (Part III) for all individual observations made in 1986 to 1988. The planetary positions are based on the same coordinate systems as those of the corresponding annual star catalogs, the Tokyo PMC Catalogs 86, 87, and 88. The mean trends of the observed positions - FK5 positions for the basic FK5 stars are constructed and compared with those of the Tokyo PMC Catalogs 86 and 87. As for the planets, their observed positions are compared with the positions of the JPL's planetary ephemeris DE200. We find that the ephemerides of the outermost planets, Uranus and Neptune, have some systematic deviations of a few tenths of arcsec in longitudes.</description><source format="bibcode">1992PNAOJ...2..475Y</source><referenceURL>https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/cat/I/188</referenceURL><type>Catalog</type><contentLevel>Research</contentLevel><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/TAP">TAP VizieR generic service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>IsServedBy</relationshipType><relatedResource>Conesearch service</relatedResource></relationship><relationship><relationshipType>related-to</relationshipType><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/186">I/186 : Tokyo PMC Catalog 85 (Yoshizawa+ 1987)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/167">I/167 : Tokyo PMC Catalog 86 (Yoshizawa+ 1989)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/187">I/187 : Tokyo PMC Catalog 87 (Yoshizawa+ 1991)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/198">I/198 : Tokyo PMC Catalog 89 (Yoshizawa+ 1993)</relatedResource><relatedResource ivo-id="ivo://CDS.VizieR/I/248">I/248 : Tokyo PMC Catalog 90-93 (Yoshizawa+ 1997)</relatedResource></relationship></content><rights>https://cds.unistra.fr/vizier-org/licences_vizier.html</rights><capability><interface xsi:type="vr:WebBrowser"><accessURL use="full">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=I/188</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=I/188</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=I/188</mirrorURL></interface></capability><capability><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/votable?-source=I/188</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/votable?-source=I/188</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/votable?-source=I/188</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface></capability><capability standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/TAP#aux"><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://tapvizier.cds.unistra.fr/TAPVizieR/tap</accessURL></interface></capability><capability xsi:type="cs:ConeSearch" standardID="ivo://ivoa.net/std/ConeSearch"><description>Cone search capability for table I/188/pmc88 (The PMC88 Catalogue, Parts I and II)</description><interface xsi:type="vs:ParamHTTP" role="std"><accessURL use="base">https://vizier.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/conesearch/I/188/pmc88?</accessURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at IUCAA: Pune, India">https://vizier.iucaa.in/viz-bin/conesearch/I/188/pmc88?</mirrorURL><mirrorURL title="VizieR at SAAO: SAAO, South Africa">http://vizieridia.saao.ac.za/viz-bin/conesearch/I/188/pmc88?</mirrorURL><queryType>GET</queryType><resultType>text/xml+votable</resultType></interface><maxSR>180.0</maxSR><maxRecords>50000</maxRecords><verbosity>true</verbosity><testQuery><ra>2.09645417</ra><dec>29.09086111</dec><sr>0.005555555555555556</sr></testQuery></capability><coverage><footprint ivo-id="ivo://ivoa.net/std/moc">https://cdsarc.cds.unistra.fr/viz-bin/moc/I/188?format=ascii</footprint><waveband>Optical</waveband></coverage><tableset><schema><name>default</name><table><name>I/188/pmc88</name><description>The PMC88 Catalogue, Parts I and II</description><column><name>recno</name><description>Record number assigned by the VizieR team.
